Stanley Tang  AIA NCARB

Principal

Mr. Tang is widely experienced in all aspects of project planning, design, management, and delivery.  He has served in numerous capacities on both small and large projects ranging from Project Architect and Project Manager to Project Design Principal.  He offers clients a rare combination of insightful design sensitivity, comprehensive technical knowledge, responsive project management, and extensive field experience.  He exhibits creativity, skill, and expertise in deftly handling functionally demanding, technically complex, and budget sensitive project requirements.  He provides a strong leadership role on projects, guiding them from initial design concept and development, through documentation and implementation, and on to successful completion.

His first significant healthcare design project was the Founder’s Pavilion at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in 1979 while with the architectural firm of Geddes Brecher Qualls Cunningham.  While a principal at Ewing Cole Cherry Brott from 1984 through 1998 he was the Project Designer for numerous healthcare projects, including Ambulatory Care Center at McGuire Air Force Base, Brick Hospital Expansion at the Medical Center of Ocean County, Inpatient Building Addition at Frankford Hospital Torresdale Division,  Ambulatory Surgery Center at  Carlisle Hospital,  Emergency Department Addition at Shore Memorial Hospital, and Shore Rehabilitation Hospital at the Medical Center of Ocean County.

Mr. Tang’s designs are noted for their careful attention to balance and proportion.  He has a skillful understanding of how different materials compliment one another.  His detailing can enrich the fašade of any building no matter how simple the materials palette may be.  He has participated in virtually all of Poltronieri Tang & Associate projects, focusing on and guiding the firm’s project design, technical documentation, and quality assurance efforts.
