Principal
Mr. Tang is
widely experienced
in all aspects of project planning, design, management, and delivery. He has served in numerous
capacities on both
small and large projects ranging from Project Architect and Project
Manager to
Project Design Principal. He
offers
clients a rare combination of insightful design sensitivity,
comprehensive
technical knowledge, responsive project management, and extensive field
experience. He
exhibits creativity,
skill, and expertise in deftly handling functionally demanding,
technically
complex, and budget sensitive project requirements.
He provides a strong leadership role on
projects, guiding them from initial design concept and development,
through
documentation and implementation, and on to successful completion.
His first
significant healthcare
design project was the Founder’s Pavilion at the Hospital of the
University of
Pennsylvania in 1979 while with the architectural firm of Geddes
Brecher Qualls
Cunningham. While a
principal at Ewing
Cole Cherry Brott from 1984 through 1998 he was the Project Designer
for
numerous healthcare projects, including Ambulatory Care Center at
McGuire Air
Force Base, Brick Hospital Expansion at the Medical Center of Ocean
County,
Inpatient Building Addition at Frankford Hospital Torresdale Division, Ambulatory Surgery Center
at Carlisle
Hospital, Emergency
Department Addition at Shore
Memorial Hospital, and Shore Rehabilitation Hospital at the Medical
Center of
Ocean County.
Mr. Tang’s
designs are noted for
their careful attention to balance and proportion. He
has a skillful understanding of how
different materials compliment one another.
His detailing can enrich the façade of any
building no matter how simple
the materials palette may be. He
has
participated in virtually all of Poltronieri Tang & Associate
projects,
focusing on and guiding the firm’s project design, technical
documentation, and
quality assurance efforts.
